January 11:
The Opera's dark side

Thought you'd like to know that I gave in to temptation and installed Opera. The first thing I noticed is that pages seem to load almost instantly and yay, Google searches can be made on the browser itself. So for 10 minutes I happily used it the way I normally would my trusty IE -- until I thought of checking how this site looks in it. Big mistake, that. It looks even worse than it does on Netscape. (I urge you never to look here using Opera, please. It's a designer's worst nightmare. *sigh*)

Arrgghh, you're right Benboy! I kinda took IE's toolbar for granted. Thanks for pointing that out.
And thank you for thinking so, Luis, but I'm typing this comment using Opera and my page doesn't look any better than it did the other day.

Opera has ways to go
with regards to their
adherence to HTML4
and CSS2. I guess
they opted for crappy
rendering for speed.
And wait till those
bloody ads start
popping in (unless of
course you paid
registration for the
junker) -- blech.

BTW, your site looks
psychedelic in Opera
Cynthia - woohoo! ;-)
