Post Valentine's tidbits.

I've always wanted but keep forgetting to blog about this:

Every chance you get to visit Hobbes in Greenbelt or that similar shop at The Fifth in Podium, make sure to peer into them. Those shrimp are really lucky, peace still reigns in their world.

Last Friday was mostly an excuse for Arn and me to be by ourselves, and indulge and spend *a little more* than usual. He picked me up early so we could choose a nice place and have dinner with no hassle. By the time we got to Greenbelt though, most restaurants were already booked. But MYLK wasn't. Remembering Dimaans' entry about the restaurant, we figured that sige na nga, we could give it a try. They had a Valentine's dinner menu that consisted of patÈd crostini and cream of spinach soup for starters, salad with feta cheese, a choice of fish or steak (guess who got which) as entrÈe and panna cotta with tea or coffee for dessert. Nooot baaaad.

Of course the very next day it was back to splitting tomato soup and one order of Jack-of-All-Trades at Kitchen for us. How can you go wrong with a satisfying combination that only costs P87.50/person (much less pa with the 30% discount card)?

Last week we also discovered, by accident, the refreshing green tea ice cream at Takas, the stall right in front of Starbucks in Galleria. Try it, it's yummy. (Hi Luis and Yvette)
