May 28: Tis the rainy month of May.
Am loving Ambriel Floyd's stuff.
*** Tons of work, church requirements, my recurring asthma, and our million and one errands are keeping us away from hanging out with friends and surfing the net like we used to. I'm so out of the loop now that I only learned about Jim and Nicole yesterday! Geez. Whilst I ponder that, Arn prefers to busy himself digesting The Architect's monologue. (He liked the movie, by the way, and has been talking about it almost non-stop!)
*** Did you know that in order to get married, you have to present new copies of your baptismal certificates? Meaning, if you're originally from somewhere in Ilocos, you'll have to brave the 8-hour drive, all the while praying that the church you were baptized in still exists! Lucky for us, Arnold and I were baptized in Makati and Quezon City respectively so it wasn't too much of a hassle --we just paid minimal processing fees (P30-50/certificate), waited a few minutes, and were all set.
Now all we need to do is attend those day-long seminars *groan*.

Hey Luis! Glad that all's going well with your preparations. Enjoy the seminars and don't forget to bring your own packed lunch (that's what it said on our registration form) hehe.

Cyn, I had the same problem too with our baptismal certificates! I had a hard time getting mine since I was born in Manila but now reside in California. Thankfully, the state of Nevada was more forgiving and allowed copies of the certificate. And now follows the 'day long' seminars... yaay!
