Lupang Hinirang ala Coppola / Lumiere
My primitive OS can't download it but this clip is supposed to feature a 5 yr old Sofia Coppola with dad Francis Ford singing "Lupang Hinirang" while they were in the country filming Apocalypse Now. Please download it if your computer can (then just tell me all about it *sniff*).

The other day Arn and I were at Neal Oshima's Lumiere to attend a photo exhibit's opening cocktails*. Click here if you wanna see Carlo's shiny silver Nikes.
*Sorry, the exhibit's title escapes me at the moment but the featured photographers include our friends and former schoolmates Dulzzi Gutierrez, Toto and Albert Labrador, and Claudine and Neil Lucente, as well as the up-and-coming RJ Fernandez (whom I haven't seen in ages!) among others. In other words, parang naging instant UP Fine Arts reunion... really, even Romeo Lee (sans the Brown Briefs) was around.

Hey, listened to the clip - Sofia is thoroughly cute - she sounds like she memorized Lupang Hinirang with a few mispronounced words, but otherwise amazing for a five year old American girl! She also counts in Chinese and said she would like to be a nurse or teacher when she grows up, and be middle size: not fat and not skinny, middle size.
