My primitive OS can't download it but this clip is supposed to feature a 5 yr old Sofia Coppola with dad Francis Ford singing "Lupang Hinirang" while they were in the country filming Apocalypse Now.

*Sorry, the exhibit's title escapes me at the moment but the featured photographers include our friends and former schoolmates Dulzzi Gutierrez, Toto and Albert Labrador, and Claudine and Neil Lucente, as well as the up-and-coming RJ Fernandez (whom I haven't seen in ages!) among others. In other words, parang naging instant UP Fine Arts reunion... really, even Romeo Lee (sans the Brown Briefs) was around.

The Elvis: A grilled peanut butter sandwich, stuffed with bananas and honey. Try it with bacon for that extra indulgence. Description c/o Peanut Butter & Co. Did you know that Mr. Presley used to eat 12-15 of these sandwiches in one sitting? Gasp. Since I'm in charge of monitoring junk food consumption in our household, my dear hubby asked me oh-so-sweetly one morning if I would please allow him to eat an Elvis just that once and never again -- for this month, at least. Now how can I say no? For those of you willing to up your triglyceride levels, I found you the recipe*. Enjoy. *Remember to do it the Elvis way, fry 'em using bacon fat.
*** *If you go to LB's lobby, you'll see her name all over all the trophies on display. Woohoo that's mah friend! (: *Though that never stops us from having a cone of Pazzo Gelato, diba Nev?

"OK, so I'm not famous for the right reasons." So what though, right? William's full-length record, tentatively titled "The True Idol," is coming out on April 6th*.

01:11 PM March 1, 2004 Is Manila getting too crowded that more and more couples are choosing to hold their weddings out of town? Last weekend Arn and I hied off to Cavite, an almost three hour's drive from where we live, just to see my friend April walk down the aisle. Mr. and Mrs. Gaby Alcantara. The beautiful wedding was held at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, a dozen or so meters away from familiar Tagaytay.
Last month, another friend, Pia, had her wedding in Caleruega church. Maybe it's a combination of the desire for magical, scenic photo opps and of cutting down on wedding expenses since only the closest of friends will attend diba?
