Please check out Redberger's awesome update: Illuminata
*** Two brand-spankin' new mirror shots coming up: one, two
*** Can I just share my excitement? Two of my designer idols Jill Bliss and Ambiel Floyd surfed this site. Proof? [here] and [here]. Many thanks to the almighty Google for leading them to my humble webcasa.
Hmmm...that gives me an idea.
NAho. NAho. NAho. NAho. NAho.
*** I recently had another girl-bonding session*, this time with my friend April, at a cozy little coffee shop in a Eastwood called Peaberry. If you've never been there, be sure to have a look one of these days. It's decorated like a Victorian age library-slash-curio shop-slash-dollhouse -- honestly I gave up figuring out the theme but the place is definitely visit-worthy, if only to see the big chandelier made out of candelabras and teacups!
The menus are creatively nestled in between the pages of hardbound books and little antique toys on the tables add to the Old World feel. (I don't know about the other items on the menu but the coffee and Almond Roca chocolate cake are excellent.)

Thank goodness this week was not all about work... well, Monday and Tuesday were. Wednesday was girl-bonding day with Lizza over "a symphony of flavors" at Little Asia. Thursday was Hulk day with our friends Robert, Shirley, Emil, and Ian. Today I'm back at work but my 11am is definitely reserved for Buffy:The Musical. Sorry, but now you know how relaxation-deprived my Arn and I have been.
*Ian, Emil, Robert, and Arn doing their best Hulk impressions.
*** Ang Lee's Hulk was awesome! What a ride. The first part kinda dragged but later on we understood that it was an intentional contrast to the fast-paced action the last 60 minutes was gonna be. The comic book panel-style editing looked a bit awkward at the start but we warmed up to it as the movie progressed.
By the way, after this movie, I don't think I can look at French Poodles the same way again.
*** Oh, we bumped into The Brothers Liongoren at the theatre lobby. Avid was his usual jumpy self and Erik who knew about our upcoming wedding generously offered us his photog services for free* (aba naman!). Lucky for him we already have 3 of our close friends shooting for us, otherwise we just might have taken him up on that offer heh.
*In exchange for projects and leads, of course!
*** Speaking of wedding planning, it's so nice to see other co-bloggers (Luis, Jen) in the same boat!

heavy third quarter workload + wedding planning crunchtime = verysporadic blog updates
***
*Gasp* Our wedding is 6 months away so lemme just list what we've covered so far:
a The venues, of course a Coordination a Photographer(s) a Videographer(s) a Gown designer a Arnold's tailor a Musicians a Flowers and decor a Cake designer a CEs for the Invitation a Wedding bands a some church & state requirements
Hmm, it seems like we've done a lot but this is only half of what the wedding will be! We have yet to attend church and city hall seminars, meet with the ceremony officiant and our reception venue's banquet coordinator, get our measurements taken, finalize our entourage & guest list, attend our choir's rehearsals, have our rings engraved, have our invites and misalettes printed, etc etc etc etc etc, not to mention furnish our new home. Thank goodness we decided to allot a year for preparation.
Note: There are times when we think if all this planning is worth it, after all a lifetime of marriage and not just a single day's event should be the center of attraction. However, we owe our dear families and friends a solemn celebration of what our union is about, that's why we want to do it right.

Bridezilla bright idea # 90271: Why not have a bag that can double as a bouquet?
More flowerbags over at Daily Blossom
*** Sigh I couldn't resist taking the"What Kind of Bride Will You Be" quiz. The result?
Congratulations, you are a traditional bride! You've been dreaming of this day since you were five years old. You want the big white dress, the bouquet of roses and daddy walking you down the aisle. You could be the poster girl for all things wedding.
Hmm, I do want my parents to walk me down the aisle, but a big white dress and a bouquet of roses is just SO not me.
*** I've started calling Arnold my Arnimatrix since he's currently re-obsessed with all things Matrix! Yes Dimaans, he's memorized Agent Smith's monologues and that's not all, he braved the heavy rains (and equally heavy traffic) yesterday morning -- those who know him well, take note: morning -- just to buy a copy of the yesterday-released Animatrix. I think the last time he was this excited over a movie was with LOTR, when he got me all those figurines from Burger King, hehe.
